Where in the World is 'Jedi Master' Jodi - February 2007

13/2/07 Hi David! I hope all is well there in Kathmandu! I was thinking about you and the gang there and just wanted to drop you a line to see how you are doing. I see that the hash website is still running full blast, and you guys are as busy as usual. I wish I could join you on a hash one day soon, but Nepal is so damn far from the US. Maybe one day we will have the cash to return.

An update on me and my life:

The last couple of years, I spent time in Guatemala and Honduras teaching and hashing there. My boyfriend, whom I know from my Peace Corps Nepal group, left there and we have finally returned to the US and are happily exploring the mountains of Colorado.

We aren't hashing here yet, I am a little fearful of American Hashes, bad past experiences in at the Dallas hash. But probably, I should just steer clear of anything Texan. Hashing in Guate was fun but easy compared to Kathmandu. Once we met up with the El

Salvadoran hashers, and they were nuts, they definately reminded me of you hashers in Nepal.

I have also taken to running in actual races. Guatemalans are crazy runners, so I got to do a couple of half-marathons there, and here in Denver, there are races every weekend. I have a dog now, who insists on taking a jog every morning, even in the snow and ice. So, while I am not Hashing, I am trying to stay in some sort of shape. I will attach a photo of my dog and I, oh, and my boyfriend too. (See above and below - GM) We drove our old land cruiser from Guate to Denver this past summer, and this is a photo of us in the yellow beast, as we call it.

I would love to know how you and your family are doing, David, and how everyone else is. Is Stephen doing well? Is Grumblewald around? Father Bill, Krishna? Tell everyone hi. If anyone is making there way to the US and Colorado, please know that our house is your house.

Best wishes! love Jodi (& Kraig--the boyfriend--& Jake--the dancing dog)
