Madras Hash's Run 400 Celebration Weekend, Aug 2006

Madras Hash's Run 400 Celebration Weekend in Aug 2006 has recently been upgraded to be a South Asian Interhash 2006. Countries in South Asia include Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Srilanka and Burma. We expect that the SAI will be hosted by different countries in turn.

MH3, with help from the other South Indian hashes in Bangalore and Hyderabad, had done a similar weekend at Kodi (short for Kodaikanal) at the same time of year in 2003, and it went down in Indian Hash history as the best Indian Nash Hash ever. The hospitality is at a 5 Star hotel by the lake and it is fully booked for hashers.

MH3 collects a single registration amount (you do not have to keep dipping into your wallet) from hashers, and that amount covers EVERYTHING - transportation from Madras/Chennai to Kodaikanal and back, 3 day/2 night's stay at the Carlton, and all meals and beer in between. Plus goody bags, 2 wild parties,3 designer t-shirts, 3 trails in forests (we have permission from the govt to hash there) which cover the hills and valleys for several hundreds of miles around Kodi. It is a tourist's paradise and we are staying at the best hotel in town - a hotel which has fine tuned itself to hashers in 2003.

Thanks to sponsors - including the Carlton hotel and Kingfisher beer - we take a princely amount of US$ 150 (no typo there!) towards registration. No need to send your money right away - just email the names (& email ids) of hashers who will be flying down to Madras/Chennai and they will be ON to get a taste of good old South Indian hospitality. We enjoyed hashing at KL during Interhash 1998, and intend to see that you get as good a time as we had at KL. If some of you want to move on to Bangalore/Hyderabad/elsewhere after SA_Interhash Kodi 2006, we can put you in touch with the local hashes to help organise your sojourn.
