Towed in Jamaica

Deer Gee Em,

As usual I am keeping an eye on goings-on from halfway round the world and
would like to remark upon some of the items on your wonderful home page. As
you will by now have noted — unless, of course, like the resurrected PM, you
were too ill to attend last Saturday's Run — I have not returned.

Sadly, although I will be returning to Nepal on about the 7th May, I will have
to leave before I can attend another Saturday ritual.

Am I the only person that reads Squizza's blog? I note some scientific
inaccuracies in his reporting (let alone the fact that the bugger's still
only at base camp - my 5-year old daughter could have got there by now).
Anyway, I was stunned to realise that UV rays are more potent because he is
so much closer to the sun up there! 6,000 metres makes a really big hole in
93 million miles (pardon the unitary confusion but they didn't have metres
when I was taught all the factual information about the universe). I reckon
his tongue got burnt because it was hanging out of his mouth while he was
walking up the icefall behind the bloke he was going to sleep with that
night. (and how much of an issue has he made of that? - what does Barbie
Girl
reckon?)

Been to a couple of hashes here - they only run every 2 weeks and then not
for very long. The GM is another artie woofter — ageing Brummie drama queen
(teaches drama at the uni), long grey hair in plait/pony tail, grey beard,
can't run very fast, shouts a lot in the circle. Reminds me of someone but
I can't quite place him!

On On,
Towed
