Full Moon Hash Sifal Football Ground west of Jaya Bageshwori Temple near Pashupati Temple Coming from the south side of Kathmandu: 1. Head along the Ring Road, past the airport to the mkain traffic lights by Pashupatinath. Turn right (north) towards Chabahil and Boudha. 2. Approximately 100-150 metres after the junction, and just before Jaya Bageshwori Temple on your left, take the slightly uphill narrow lane on your left. Follow this straight with trees on the left to a large football playground (Sifal Football Ground). Coming from the north side: 1. Head to Chahabil junction on the Ring Road and proceed south, After 800m turn right by Jaya Bageshowri Temple (on the right) and follow the lane immediately after the temple, with forest on the south, on to the on-in site 150m ahead. Coming from Gyaneshwor: 1. Head east toward Pashupati to Kalo Pul. From the large bridge over the river climb up and go right-straight up where the road goes to the left at the top of the hill. See large open space on the right with the road passing around it. Note: The actual full moon is at 3.39 am on 8 February. |
